Licht troebel rozerood bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is vrij zuur en fruitig met iets van aardbei en wat appel. Ik heb het weer eens geprobeerd echter niet mijn ding.

Een uitdaging om met kamille, paardenbloemblad en lavendel een sour te maken, maar toch redelijk goed gelukt. Er heeft dan wel wat fraicheur plaats moeten maken voor meer bloemigheid.

330ml bottle. Clear, dark amber to brown colour with some off-white bubbles on top. Tart-ish, tangy, slightly vinous and fruity aroma, hints of balsamico, oak, blue grapes. Taste is tart, fruity, dry vinous, oaky, notes of blue grapes, a touch of balsamico. Soft to flat carbonation, insipid.

Bottle courtesy of Jackie and Simon, passed onto us many months ago, cheers you two! Consumed at home Thursday 7th February 2019 whilst cooking Lasagne and also a Mushy Pea Fish Pie, yes really a Mushy Pea Fish Pie. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Fruit on nose (gooseberry perhaps?) along with a touch of funk. Sweet and sour in the mouth, gooseberry again showing, a little tart cherry also. It's ok.

[ As 't Hofbrouwerijke Flower Sour ].
ABV: 7.0%. Clear medium yellow amber colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, tart, flowers, resin, sour flowers, dandelion, lavender, chamomile. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, flowers, dandelion, sour, lavender, heather, chamomile, rubber notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180728]

Bottle from Ben. Many thanks! hazy colour, white foam. Nose of rotten fruit, lavender, cinnamon. Taste is tart and very unbalanced, lots of spices. Not my kind of beer, but nevertheless interesting.

Handpump at Luppolo Station in Rome-Italy. Cloudy dark amber color, little lacing. Nose: lavander, sweet floral, hidden funky. Mouth: sweet, a bit earthy, rich and with flowery soul. Nice.
