Bottle 0,25ltr: One of mine top three of the most hated brewerygroup of the world Inbev Belgium. All the bad things have some good in it, so do they. Hazy golden/orange coloured Whitebeer special for the wintertimes, more spicy and citric than usually.

*rating overgezet* Het is een troebel licht geel bier met een stevige schuimkraag. Het aroma is zoetig, tarwe en gist. De smaak is zoetig en wat fruitig.

Honey color, cloudy, creamy head. Lemon aroma. Lemon and grape juice flavor. Rather poor lacing. Just a bit herbal, but the fruit dominates. Full bodied.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 24A, adaptado). Bottle 25 cl - Batch 021. AROMA: medium clove and slight banana aroma with a wheat malt background and slightly sweet. no citric notes detected. APPEARANCE: gold color and hazy. medium white, moussy head with good retention. TASTE: medium-low slightly sweet, wheat flavor with medium-low to low notes of clave and banana. slight oxidation note (cardboard). medium-low bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with slight fluffiness. moderate carbonation. OVERALL: not quite a witbier but with good wheat characteristics.

Winter version of the classic Hoegaarden Witbier, with crystal malt. Hazy peach blonde colour, off-white, creamy head; aroma of honey, pineapple slices in syrup, powder sugar, caramel, nuts, bread. Sweet and smooth in the mouth with spicy notes, relatively ’genuine’ for an AB InBev beer, but too sugary, with low hop bitterness in the finish. Simple winter beer, not too convincing, but acceptable.

* Old rating, best before 04/10/10. Mild-fruchtiges Witbier. Milde Hefe, keine Herbe und die typischen Witbier-Aromen harmonieren gut. Schönes Bier!
