cask @ Oliver Twist Aroma has nuts and resin. Flavour has resiny malt, some menthol-like hoppiness, grapefruit. Dry finish with lingering hoppiness. The hop profile isn't exactly my thing here.

From cask at Dog & Bell, Deptford, London, 28.03.22. Golden amber. Off-white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of sweet pale malt, marmalade and caramel. Very quaffable. Some bitterness in aftertaste.

Pours an almost clear dark amber colour with a small loose off-white head. Aroma is malty and light caramel with some fruity hop notes. A moderately sweet and moderately bitter taste, toasted malts, caramel flavours with a peppery bitter hop finish.

(Cask at Black Door, 20190921) The beer poured mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was small, white and it lasted long. Aroma had grass, earth and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were earth, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was earthy and bitter. A pleasant and balanced brew with earhy and grassy notes.

Cask in England. Didn't take enough notes for a very decent review, but I did really like this one. malty, bit caramelly very tasty. Restrained bitterness ( as is the style ) and very easely drinkable.

Thin off white head left a cover on a clear brown, still body. Caramel & malt aroma. Medium to thin bodied, sparkling on the tongue & a clean finish. Taste is much as the aroma with malt, brown sugar, caramel & bitter fruity finish. Average English Bitter

Appearance- clear and copper, with a small fizzy beige head. Aroma- caramel and malty toffee dominate, biscuity malt, hint of fruity hops. Taste- rough malt, bitter hops, caramel biscuit, dark fruit undertones. Smooth mouthfeel, short finish.
