Een buitenbeentje in onze fruitbieren. Zachtzoet van smaak dankzij de bosbessen en het speciale brouwproces op basis van pilsbier.

A red beer with a huge pink head that laces the glass. The aroma is sour with notes of green leaves, blackberries, and black currant. The flavor is of blackberries, black currant and a dry hoppy end. And the body is thin - so it taste like a too thin fruit syrup.

Black (very deep red) colour, with a pinkish head, which is rapidly and almost fully diminishing. Good lacing. Fruity (myrtilles) aroma, some soured milk too. Neutral flavour, little bit sourish in the end. Disappointing.

(Well-aged sample) Amber with a burgundy-mauve shine, all clear; little white rim. Little madeirisation in a very sweet nose, fruitsugars, brown sugar. Fruitjuice flavours and madeirisation vie about domination. Sugar, point, wins. Excessively sweet. Fruity but not natural. Bit of esters all the same. Thank God this is very light. If not, it would be pure syrup. Whether aged or fresh, this beer is horribly sweet. Sugared fruitjuice, diluted with weak beer. For non-beer lovers.

Bottled. Cherry red. Acidic blueberry/raspberry aroma. Sweet, clean and light bodied. Thin with more berries in the finish.
