Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een helder goudgeel bier met een dun wit schuim. Het heeft een citrus achtige geur. De smaak is moutig en citroen achtig.

Bottle. Clear pale golden color with thin white ring. Aroma is lemony, and sweet sugary syrup. Taste the same, with a sour lemon bite. Oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Quite artificial, and it doesn’t really work out.

F: no real. C: deep gold, almost clear. A: lemon, woody, bit of caramel. T: lemon sourness, woody, bit of strange caramel fruity, quite fruity aftertaste, taste is better than aroma, medium body, low carbonation, for 3,5% ok beer, 25cl bottle from Cora Woluwe-Saint-Lambert in Brussels.

7/V/17 - sample @ the brewery (Toer de Geuze) - BB: n/a (2017-588) Thanks to ElManana+1 for sharing the beer!

Little hazy dark blond beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable. Aroma: lemon indeed, bit fruity, chemical touch, lemon peel. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of lemon juice, bit sweet, sugary, little bitter, more lemonade. Aftertaste: lemon juice, bitter lemon, pretty decent, not too sweet.

250 ml bottle (old backlog rating). Clear, deep golden body under a white head. Aroma is lemon with a hint of soap. Flavor is acidic lemon with sweetness like lemonade. Medium body and aftertaste of soda pop with lemon flavor. Really nothing for my taste.

Shared from bottle courtesy of Maakun. Clear dark golden with thin head with little retention. Big sweet and sour, beer wort, lemon and lemonjuice. Sour sweets; "zure matjes, napoleon". Faro. Very sweet and very sour. Medium body, low carbonation. Very sour with super sweet finish. Crazy jawbreaker stuff.

Bottle shared with sjogro. Almost clear dark golden with barely any head. Some lemon, weird funky grains, lots of candy sugar, light puke, apricot, soft grass. Over medium sweet and sour, really touching both ends of the spectrum. Medium bodied with light carbonation. One of the better Chapeau beers.
