Very dark, nearly opague. Dense head. Apple and roasted malt aroma. Soft roasted malt flavor. Biscuit, apple, cream, blackcurrant. Medium bodied. Firm and tasty, but lacks the depth of some other stouts. Still, a well made beer. 7 4 7 3 13 =3.4 Re-rate: bottle. Roast, ash and melon in the aroma. Roast, grapes and ash in the flavor. Ash and a hint of chocolate in the fin ish. Well balanced stout with a slightly creamy mouthfeel.

Aus der Flasche im 2014-11 getrunken. Schönes Stout was nicht kalt getrunken werden darf, da sonst die tollen Aromen vollkommen untergehen. Schön süffig.

0,5 l bottle. Pours out - black. Two finger beige head. More milk choco than coffee smell. Taste starts the same, also some hints of smoke. Thins a little bit out in the middle. Hopy elements in the aftertaste. Nice.

Tap at HBF 2017, Helsinki. Colour s clear dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Cold coffee, burnt malts and roasted malts. Not good.

Tap @ hbf 2017. Poured near black with a thin white head. Aroma has oatmeal, roastedness, tobacco, wood. Flavor has oatmeal smoothness, toast, some chocolate.

Flaske (bb.01/15), delt i hyggelig lag på brygga med Willy og aspirant Joa: brunsvart med fint skum som varte helt ned. Aroma og smak av kaffe og røstede malter med et søtt anstrøk (og et aldri så lite hint av røykmalt), kunne gjerne vært litt tørrere men det skyldes kanskje utløpt dato.
