A clear blonde ale with a thin creamy white head, with lacing. Aroma of honey and cream, orange and perfume...signs of oxidation. In mouth, a light oily mouth feel with light coriander, incense and some unpleasant cardboard. At 8%, I thought this would have withstood the ravage of time pretty well,,,nope! Oxidized. BB 08-2007.

Bottle @ home. Cloudy yellow-orange, creamy white head, lots of particles. A firm gusher. Aroma of yeast, butter and sweet fruits, a little spice. Flavour is butter, sweet fruits, some yeast. Surprisingly lasting bitter finish. Some alcohol. Thick, soft and creamy mouthfeel.

Pours bright gold into a snifter. Bright white head with excellent retention pancakes leaving no lacing. Lemony yeast aromas. Fruity upfront with a very different dry finish. Almost dusty - like some Fantomes and HItachinos...

Bottle at ’t Brugs Beertje. Hazy amber color with a three finger white head. Interesting floral hop aroma - but it’s rather dark floral. Medium body with coarsely creamy carbonation - then thins a bit. Flavor is herbal/floral hop, pale malt or biscuit. Finishes dry and grassy(?) bitter. Confusing hop profile(to me). Very good, though. It is fantastic.

Bottle, Lancs Heroes, Crosby. Pours a hazy light amber with a big ol’ head.. Aroma is fruity and fragrant, with some yeast evident. Very smooth mouthfeel. Flavour has real depth, spices, pepper, citrus, yeast, with some hops, followed by a nice lingering bitter finish. Very well crafted. I dig it.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow to light orange with a dense white head. Light yeasty and slight spiced aroma. Flavour holds a subdued citrus note and a mild yeasty flavour of the mellow kind. Ends mild with notes of yeast and malt, but also a minor bitterness.

Bottle. Cloudy blonde beer with a lightly spiced aroma and a lightly mulled, quite spiced, dry and fruity flavour. Overall an average blonde Belgian beer.
