(Bottle 33 cl) In this original version simply called "Quintine". Pale golden, hazy with a nice, huge head. Very pronounced bitterness all the way through. Harsh alcohol-burn. Not really pleasant. 111196

Hazy orange, big cloudy head, lots of lace. Sharp, metallic aroma: sourness, cardboard, lemon, yeast and ammonia - not really pleasant. Medium-bodied. Quite spicey, finishing citric acid taste, some apples too. Long hoppy bitter aftertaste. Personal blonde.

Bottle: Poured an hazy dark golden color ale with an above medium head with better then average retention. Aroma is mix of very floral malt and some very wonderful spices. Taste is a bit harsh at first (like a rush of spices hitting your tongue) with some sweetness coming in later and some light bitterness at the end. Very enjoyable and good example of the style.

Bottle Lightly amber, quite clear body. Fizzy white head, fully diminishing. Very pleasing aroma - flowers. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter initial flavour. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet (long) finish. Lightly alocoholic.

Fully flunky, dull light-amber ale; thick yellowish head full of strange specks, not stable. Poured in the worst possible way by the knowledgeable staff... Nose of cattlefeed, wet mash, dredges, farmyard odours. Taste yields vanilla, rosewater, "amandine", yeasty flavours. There's malt sweetness, but it gets overwhelmed by the flunky yeast flavours. There's a little, but certain touch of acidity, sourness on the lips. Medium bodied, some burning - not alcohol. Still not a bad beer, despite all the trouble the pourer went to. A bit of Saison touch.

Cloudy yellow color, big white head. Spicy, yeasty, bit sweet, some hops, bit bitter. I had 3 of these beers before this evening, and they were all quite the same: Marikenbier, Moinette Biologique, Saint Monon Biere du Miel. Just buy 1 and rate 4 ;)

The aroma is very fresh: sweet, fruity, and yeasty with hints of alcohol. The color is a hazy orange and it has a fantastic huge creamy white head - that lasts. The flavor is mild at first with notes of sweet malt, raisins, and corriander. The mild start is abrubtly subdued when the beer comes with a bite containing alcohol, yeast, hops, corriander, and other spices. It ends on a long lasting dry bitter, spicy, and woody note. Blonde is not my favorite style, but this beer is great.

Cloudy golden color. Dry and cellary aroma, spicy (coriander) with a touch of fruitness, sourness and vanilla; very complex. Good taste, malty, with some bitter astringency. It aged quite well.

Cloudy light amber color; giant, creamy head! Wonderful.
Biting aroma: wood and old hops; very dry, unique. Dry but velvety mouth feeling, good strong malt, strong bitterness supported by a nice hop aroma, spicy; ends with a peculiar caramel-like taste, very original in a blond ale.
Excellent!
