La Quintine Blonde a une superbe couleur blonde voilée ; ni filtrée, ni pasteurisée ou centrifugée après fermentation. Elle est dotée de beaux arômes fruités et fleuris de houblon, typiques de notre brasserie.

Smooth an delicious. This brewery continues to amaze me. Taste and texture remind me of a tripel (minus the towering head). Sweet, citrusy taste (grapefruit?) and absolute mellow mouthfeel belies the 8% ABV. A real gem...

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of hops, marmalade, honey, light caramel, malts and dried fruits. Sweet malty flavour, light bitterness. Finish honey, marmalade and hops.
Not bad, not very original either.

(Bottle, Restobières, Brussels, 18 July 2012) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of dried fruit, citrus and spicy hints of yeast. Fruity, malty taste with citrus, dried fruit and a grassy, spicy bitterness in a finish with a slight sweetness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Quite nice and tasty.

another unoriginal tasting beer. blonde, common, blegian, .. but a little bit more sweetness.. best to leave the bottom of this one in the bottle. one of the dirtiest shiftings i’ve ever seen. ( maybe to old ? )

33cl bottle, Budapest, Brasserie Henri. BBE 01/2014. Hazy orange, bubbly, thick lasting head. Fruity, spicy, herbal aroma. Flavor has mandarine, spices, citrus, herbs. Ends very dry. Mouthdrying. Close to Duvel. Tasty.

Poured into a lovely chalice glass: New Years Day, in a bar on the Grand Place in Mons, Belgium. The body was an orangey, golden yellow, a slight haze spoiled the moment; a thinning white head was evident as the glass was placed in front of me, by the time I’d lifted the glass to my lips it had receded to a collar and a wisp. Mixed bag of mini smells; yeast, citrusy hops, sweet flower aromas and biscuit malts, all faint but detectable. The taste is sharp, tangy and almost lager/pilsner like, however a malty flavour appears mid sip, before the dry, initial sharpness re-asserts it’s self. Half decent and certainly one of the crispier Belgian on-tap beers I’ve had in this style. The complexity of the flavours hid the alcohol content and it was impossible to guess it’s ABV, very surprised when I discovered it was 8%. Really enjoyed it, would have been better outside on a sunny, warm day rather than the damp cold evening I sat inside with my coat on. Hope to come across it again in the summer one day.

Bottle. Pours golden with a white head. The superb mix of tartness, berry sweetness and a quite strange spicy finish, has a lot of similarities with the otherwise unique beers from Brasserie Fantome. Lovely.
