Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are an overdose of xmas spices. Way too much. Behind all this also a little caramel, fruits and hops.

Almost clear deep cherry red beer, good cream - tan colour head. Palate is quite light and a little soft. Light fine carbonation. Very sweet malts, trace of caramel and brown sugar. Sweet dried fruits and a touch of spice. Light dry finish. Flavoursome but pretty sweet.

Bottle at Bierhuyske . pours dark, small white head Taste ans smell are very herbal, very spiced . Spices used here are less my thing . Bit sweet, bit bitter , but mostly the spices ..

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Clear amber reddish color, small off-white head. Aroma is malts, sweetness, sweet fruits. Tastes the same: sweet fruits, some malts, sweet, a hint of candy. Well sweetness is all it is basically. Meh at best.

Bottle @ benzai. Amber to ruby colour with a small off-white head. Smells sweet, raisins, malts, herbs and spices, thyme. Tastes very sweet, malts, raisins. Meh. Medium body, very soft carbo.

[33 cl. bottle][15 cl. sample][Split with Kogymo][White Pony Day @ ‘t Antwaerps Bierhuiske] Pours a dark red brown with a solid off-white head, looks a bit under carbonated. Nose is an odd one, reminds me of dishwashing liquid, there is a dash of ammoniac, sparkling water and somewhat familiar thick syrupy Belgian dark fruits, feels like it has been open for a while or it hasn’t finished fermenting yet, not sure what this is but to me this doesn’t smell all to okay. Taste follows suit, not sure how to describe it but it feels off in some way, granted not in an infected sort of way but it feels unfinished like it hasn’t fully fermented or something. It tastes of mild sweet ammoniac, very sticky fruits, dried oranges, lots of leaves, caramel, sticky young Belgian fruits. Like most White Pony beers it feels a bit unfinished, somewhat flat and a bit too boozy for me, it is hard to do even the 15 cl. sample. It feels like it has been open for a while, mouth feel-wise even though it wasn’t. It was drinkable and not entirely off-putting but this isn’t it.
