Complex hopping technology usage forms unique rich taste, differing by complexity and multifacetedness as well as by expressed aroma of Baltika Draught beer.

The specialty of the Baltika Draught beer with recommended serving temperature of 8-12°, is long sticking and slowly subsiding thick foam.

Thin coarseish white head. Clear yellow body. Light floral strawy aroma with fruity alcoholic notes. Dry-sweetish grassy strawy taste with perfumy fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dryish herbal fruity aftertaste with grassy mealy notes and traces of honey. Quite nice. (0.5l bottle from a street kiosk in Moscow.)

500ml bottle from some kiosk in Murmansk. Clear golden body. Smells mainly of lemon, like from the cleansing agent I use for my bathroom. The taste of papier mâché, sweaty cheese, grain and a sweet finish, at least makes it interesting, but not in a good way really. But I want to give some credit for design. (Shared at XIV Session 22. June 2011)

bottle from a local Russian supermarket. Clear golden colour, large white head. Shy malt flavours, shy fruit flavours in the far distance (apple?), very slightly hoppy.

500ml bottle bought in Murmansk for a rating session in Tromsø, thanks to Elisabeth. Screw cap. Thin, white head. Clear, yellow-straw body. Bland smell of dry malts. Grain and hay in flavour. Papery dry and very sweet. Has got very little to offer, 22.06.2011.
