500 ml bottle, batch 589, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Cloudy pale golden colour, large white head. Intense aroma of Citra hops, citrus and tropical fruits galore, some catty hints too. Very hoppy flavour on a slightly sweet background, notes of grapefruit and resin, hints of tropical fruits, medium bitter finish. Maybe not perfectly balanced, but a decent beer all the same.

500ml bottle, batch 574, shared with Elisabeth and Stefan at VertsHuset Skarven, where it was served in snifter glasses from Haandbryggeriet. Lasting filmy layer over a misty, yellow-gold body. Spotty lacing. Starts with a good citrus punch to the nose. Tropical fruits and lemony hops in flavour leading to a dry bitter end of citrus peels. Soft in the mouth. Very nice drink with session qualities. Could very well be a hit this summer (Tromsø, 20.04.2013).

Small white head. Hazy yellow body. Funky mealy gooseberry aroma with strawy fruity notes. Dry-sweet strawy gooseberry taste with tropical fruit notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy tropical fruit and gooseberry aftertaste with resiny wooden notes. Can also make out grapefruit and dusty straw. Outstanding! Hugely drinkable, really smooth and nice. (0.2l draft at Schouskjelleren, Oslo.)

Appearance: Lovely cloudy orange color with a fine frothy white head. Nice curtain lacing.
Aroma: Fruity and rich citric hoppy. I could sit and put my nose deep into this one for a long time! Lovely aroma.
Palate: Medium plus body. Balanced sweetness, and a fine bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Balanced fruity (tropical) sweetness. And rich citric hoppy.
Overall impression: A really fresh and tasty golden/blonde ale. Blond ale? A state of the art beer at 4.5%. Well done Ole R! Ill have to get more of this for sure. Looking forward to a fine summer with a lot of Humlesus.....
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with OleR.

On tap at Schouskjelleren. Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Hoppy aroma with citrus, fruits, pine some malt and hints of spices. Medium body. Light to medium sweet with nice fruity and hoppy flavour from the Citra. Finishes citrusy and bitter. Pleasantly bitter aftertaste with grapefruit. Excellent session beer in my book. Hoppy, refreshing and easy to drink.
