Bottle shared in High Wicombe - picked up online. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has some dry dough, wheat, yeast, faint citrus, straw, cereal grains. Light sweet flavour with simple doughy wheat, some impressions of tangerine, melon. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet in the finish, with more melon, tangerine, wheat flakes. Basic but enjoyable.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear gold lasting white head. Mostly cereal aroma with a touch of citrus lemon. Strange beer. It’s somewhere between a lager and a biere de garde. OK, not sure I want to finish a whole 75cl bottle though. Boy I’m tired.

Sampled draft @ La Capsule as « L’Angelus le Temps d’un Printemps ». Hazy orange with a white head. Nose is truly exceptional, sweet pineapple mixed with apple pie, fresh cake, pear, cinnamon etc. Taste however sadly is much weaker and not as nuanced but still nice, light lemon meringue, pineapple, sugary, sweet spices, light honey, a bit weak tasting. Light body, touch lower carbonation. Nice beer, if only it tasted more like it smelled.

blonde color, wheat, lemon, grains of paradise,. Light, moderate acidity, with a touch of sourness at the end, a bit unbalanced but not bad.

Bouteille: Deep golden, a bit unclear, small foamy layer, light herbal-woody nose, some bittering hops detectable, an illusion of cold tea is detectable as well; light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, medium bodied; drier bitter-sweet herbal finish. A bit too sweet in the "middle", but all in all O.K. ....

(bottle, 75cl, as L´Angelus Le Temps d´un Printemps) Hazy, golden colour with a collapsing medium-sized and slightly off-white frothy head. Herbal and nettle-spicy aroma with notes of cara-malt, iced tea and a touch of anise. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly cara-malty base with present hints of herbs, nettles and an ethereally minty touch towards the sweet and shy bitter finish. A tad too sweet interesting though. 22.II.12
