Tight white head stayed on a hazy pale golden coloured body. Citrus & vegetal aroma. Medium bodied, foamy & clean. Rhubarb, vegetal, citrus & hoppy tastes with a bitter, sour finish. Sharp!

19/XI/19 - 33cl swing-top bottle @ HoReCa-Expo Gent, BB: II/2021 - (2019-1877) Thanks to the brewers and the Ghent Beer Posse for sharing today’s beers!

Clear to light orange beer, big solid creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty impression, bit off, some sulphur, spicy touch, bit herbal, fruity touch. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter start, lots and lots of malts, grapefruit, more astringent bitterness, bit oxidized. Aftertaste: very unpleasant bitterness, soapy, grapefruit, some orange peel.

Bottle. Hazy. Rhubarb and some grassy hops in the aroma. Grassy herbal hops abd a hint of rhubarb in the flavor. The balance between the rhubarb and the hops is questionable, but this is a good beer.

Bouteille 33cl de Vinochope, Perpignan. BB end oct/2020, lot# C1785. Dorée, col blanc épais peu tenace. Arôme au bouquet malté pils, cara, qcq effluves agrumes et un effet rhubarbe minimaliste au nez - sans le savoir presque imperceptible, sorte de houblonné zélandais en rétro. Palais est léger, entre une farmhouse française et une IPA, la base levure est clairement française, malté sur le long, amertume fine avec une petite pointe acidulée en toute fin, là aussi le côté rhubarbe n'est pas vraiment mis en avant. Niveau houblon, je note bien un effet herbacé, et fruité tropical plaisant, ponctué par une note de pin et bois sec en toue fin de bouche.

28/3/2019. bottle at the Spread Eagle, Ipswich. Pours pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of pineapple, flowers, passion fruit, light rhubarb, grapefruit and refresher sweets. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, hint of tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Quite drinkable and enjoyable.

Tåkete gulbrun med høyt hvitt skum. Lukter blomster og korn. Middels fylde. Sur lett syrlig smak, epler, sitrusskall og korn. Ingen rabarbra.

33cl bottle at City Blues, pours a hazy light yellow with some frothy, white head. Nose doesn't read IPA, its vinous, straw, some white pepper, yeast. Flavor doesn't have any rhubarb, there's light grist, yeast, pepper, straw, some lemon. Dry finish, but simple.

Draught @ Albion. Pours hazy pale yellow with small white foamy head, faint earthy aroma, low carbonation, mildly earthy taste, smooth body, medium finish. Smooth and easy to drink.
