Collaboration brew, a variation on Taras Boulba, "extra hoppy". Misty yellow blonde beer with vivid sparkling everywhere, supporting a lacing, medium thick, audibly crackling, egg-white head with good retention. Becomes fully cloudy and ’milky’ with deposit. Aroma of sour and sweetish fruits, impressions of green apple, raw rhubarb, baker’s yeast, raw pear, lemon peel, prosecco, soap, freshly cut nettles, milk gone sour, goat cheese, fresh ginger. Vivid fruity taste, subdued sweetishness with a light, refreshing acidity, unripe plums, gooseberries, sharpish minerally carbonation, slightly bready pale malts underneath, dryish; a leafy, earthy, ’Euro’ hop bitterness sets in early and increases towards the end, leading to a long, dry, bitter finish, not very aromatic, but quenching and appetizing nonetheless. Enjoyable session beer, lacking the aromatic citrus qualities of an IPA, so best viewed as a more ’old school’ Belgian bitter (not unlike XX Bitter and a few others in this substyle).

Bottle at the 7th Tasting in Belgrade-Serbia, from a trade of markoijelena. Thank you mate. Pours yellow extremely cloudy, small white gassy cap. Nose: little stable, grainy, fresh hops. Mouth: malt, wheat, citric and sour final end. Nice one!

Bottle bought @ Etre. Pours hazy milky glowing yellow with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is rustic, tiny malty and tiny fruity with crackers, cereal, grapefruit juice, fresh air, minerals, moist grass, dry soil, mango and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, tiny fruity and herbal with crackers, honey, grapefruit juice, mango, papaya, dry soil, hay, minerals and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, slightly astringent and light bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, grapefruit juice, unripe mango, honey, dry soil, minerals, hay and lemon zest. Another dead solid crushable De La Senne beer!

Bottle at Cafe Rose Red, Bruges, Belgium, Saturday 18th October 2014. It pours the colour of a battery hen egg yolk, with large sticky white head atop. Wonderful soft silky carbonation, quikly runs to dry. A light lemon vein throughout. Hoppy but not in a big bolshy way. Very good, hoppy burps aplenty. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Flaska från Etre Gourmete. Gyllengul, disig, vitt skum. Trevlig

Little bottle thanks to seabass. Pours out a hazy pale straw topped with a soap head. Nose is bread little yeast and touch of hops. Taste is as the nose with a nice bread and bit of bitterness on the end.
