Bottle/Fest. A- Smoke, wood, mild whisky, peat. A- Brown color, cloudy liquid, tan head. T- Wood, smokey, peat. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, smokey finish. O- I was ecstatic when I got to try this one and wish it was still available to find easily, as I want more. Definitely resembles a Scotch Whisky. Lots of smoke, woody notes, and peat. It was different but I liked it a lot.

Svart med lavt lys brunt skum. Lukter cherry, mørke frukter, trevirke, noe papp og blomster. Dyp søtlighet, fruktig med middels bitterhet. Også cherry feeling i smak. Middels lengde.

Bottle at a tasting in Stockholm, April 2013. (thanks Marc) Dark brown with a medium head. A lot of whisky and smoke both in the aroma and taste. Also oak, ash, malt, peat and some dark chocolate. An ok one.

Bottle shared with (and great courtasy of) the Bergen Tasting Crew. The colour is hazy brown and has a small beige head. Whisky notes in the aroma along with oak, smoked meat, leather and BBQ-sauce. The BBQ continues in the mouth with roasted malt, leather, ash, dark wood and a pleasant tar-like aftertaste. Has a incredible silky mouth feel, and a light to medium bitterness. The beer has a very nice aroma, and is perfect in front of a fireplace.
