Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, yeasty and heavy pepper. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with a pepper burn. 221113

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich clean pepper, black peppercorn, pepper and more black peppercorn. Notes of beer.

Yellow color, small white head. Quite odd spicey aroma: cooked vegetables, hops. Light bodied. Light Belgian style yeastyness, quite weak palate. Nice pepper burn in the aftertaste, otherwise lacks substance. AR 6 AP 2 F 7 P 3 OV 12 3.0

Almost clear gold beer with a decent white head. Palate is slightly soft and slightly dry. Sweetish malt, thin, with light lactose. Whisper of citrus. Pepper heat builds towards the finish and really hangs about. All right but could do with a stronger backbone to hold it all together.

Bottle at Hoppy Loft. Bready orange nose with big black pepper and a bit of honey. Deep gold color with lace. Huge black pepper flavor practically drowns out everything else and tastes like ass. There is some lemon and bread still recognizable. This is just wrong. No wonder they are selling it off at like 7 euros.

Courtesy of tderoeck. Thx! 650 ml. bottle sampled during Zwanze Day shenanigans. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Nose is soapy, chemical with a tang, bitter pepper & herbs + hops. Taste is soapy mixed with candy sugar, bitter herbs and pepper, sweet malts and herbs with some fruity hops. The peppery finish is very nice & good, I just don’t like a lot of the flavours that come before the finish, wish it was more like the finish. Frankly bit of a mess this one in my opinion. I had no issue with drinking it, not too strong as far as the intensity of the pepper goes. Full & a bit oily body. Out of the types of pepper used, I must say that I get the white one probably most. I have never had green or pink pepper.

Clear orange beer, creamy white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very weird, vegetables, soup. That's about all I can get. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: well, it's pepper corns all right... bit sourish, citrus, pretty spicy, black and red pepper corns (didn't taste the white and green ones). Aftertaste: guess... pepper corns! Pretty spicy, and a watery finish. WTF is this stuff?? When reading the description of the beer, I guess the beer itself was an April Fool's joke on it's own, no?
