A classic Pale Ale this is a product of one of the UK’s oldest breweries. Whitbread Pale Ale is malty, almost sweet, with a moderate caramelly bready taste, but balanced with very moderate hops.
Whitbread Pale Ale is pleasant to drink and recommended for those who think they don’t like darker beers.
Whitbread Pale Ale goes great with food and even cheese!
In 2018 brewing was transferred from Wellpark to Windsor & Eton.

Bottle: Poured a rusty amber color with creamy off white head. Aroma was sweet caramel. Taste was sweet tea like, not very overwhelming.

[Bottle at Wenlock Arms, London] An amber beer with a small orange head. The nose is very hoppy while the flavor is dry hoppy and a little roasted. Nice without being something special.
