Aroma of dark malt, smoke, caramel, some chocolate. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a moderate to medium bitter finish. Body is a bit on the thin side, but not detrimental. Enjoyable Smoked Porter.

Tap at Haarlemse Biermarkt: Black coloured brew with an brownish head. English Porter appearance with some Bamberg smokey flavour.

33cl bottle from Smaakhuis. Poured dark brown in color, thin off white head. Smoked malty aroma, some peat, dark bready, feels bit light in body overall.

Bottle thanks to Ingo! Sampled on September 18, 2015.Hazy dark brown to black color, smallish teal head. Cocoa, chocolate, smoked scent at first, goes somewhat towards "prickig korv" while warming up. Taste is chocolate, smoke, some toffee, "prickig korv". Medium mouthfeel, medium low bitterness.Had half a bottle (shared one on two), enjoyed it at first, but after finishing my glass felt that was quite enough for me. The smoke goes more to lightly smoked sausage than that of wood and tar, which I personally would’ve enjoyed more.

33 cl. bottle @ Uitspanning Boslust, Utrecht. Dark brown with an off-white head. I think this bottle was a gusher because the whole of the neck held no beer anymore. Roasted malts aroma with of course lots of smoke. Taste is sweet with again (too much) smoke. After a few minutes however the smoke somewhat subdues, leaving a much more enjoyable beer. Quite thin bodied but decent nonetheless.
