330ml bottle bought @Johnny’s Off License (Rome). Pours deep brown with a little cappuccino head. Aroma of cocoa powder, dark chocolate, roasted notes, coffee. Flavour is medium sweet with a bitter chocolate note in the end. Medium to light body, watery, light carbonation. Nice one.

[ As Thiriez Fièvre de Cacao ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, chocolate, cacao - cacao nibs, moderate roasted. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, spices, herbs, cacao, dark malt, dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160123]

Drucken på fat på Malmö Brewings franska ölfestival. Tydlig doft av cacao men i smaken är cacao inte särskilt påtaglig, lätt srlig, lite klorofyllig, torkad ingefära, blombukett. Oväntat lite rostade aromer och smaker. Annorlunda. Trevlig.

Bottled. Brownish black colour with a minor brown head, which disappears quite fast. Aroma is chocolate, some cookies, mild toffee and some ashes and roasted malts. Flavour is roasted malts, some chocolate, ashes and some ripe fruits to it. Surprisingly watery and thin for being 6.5 %.
