341ml bottle.
Dark mahoghany pour, next to no head. Aroma of ripe fruit, port, grapes, and sweet malt. Flavour is quite malty, with a touch of chocolate, and some raisins. A nice beer for the style, not too overly sweet, well balanced, and a good maltiness. I really enjoyed this, it drank very well for a 9% beer.

Tap at Little Delirium. My Eisbock tick. Yippee! Golden brown/dark amber colour, small thin off-white head. Aroma is oud bruin sour, earthy, not as I expected, lightly fruity, apples, and quite sweet. Something a bit skunky too. Taste is pretty unusual. Initial sourness, but then quite a bit of sweetness. Really reminiscent of an oud bruin again. Aftertaste is bit vegetal though. One is definitely enough in one sitting. Little bit of spritziness.

Dark brown. Sweet, mapley sort of sugar aroma, and a bit of nuttiness. Nice rich sugars, again a maple note, some rich malts. Nice and mellow, with a good sense of balance. Not super complex, but good stuff.

2016 vintage. 341mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma smells pretty oxidized, with bready caramel, alcohol and cardboardy, sherry-like oxidation. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready caramel, sherry-like oxidation, some cardboard, and a bit of dark fruits. Not as dialed in as I'd like, and a bit too much oxidation, but it's pleasant once you get past that.

Now with a much cooler label than this photo. It was an exceedingly clear red-brown in color with a rich malty plum aroma. Medium to full bodied and surprisingly mellow and smooth. Rich malty sweet caramel with lots of plum and stone fruits. Surprisingly easy to drink and everyone was astounded at how smooth it was.

Bottle shared at Cotteridge convention 05/03/2016. Thanks! A light hazed reddy amber coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is subdued, biscuity grains, caramel, cardboard and apple. Flavour is composed of wallpaper paste, apple, caramel, some hot alcohol. . Palate is sweet, tangy and thin, lowish, medium cardonation. Little oxidised.

341ml bottle. Cloudy, chestnut colour with small, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, superbly lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, nuttily malty aroma, toffee notes, some caramel, a touch of raisin, rum and mocha. Taste is nuttily malty, slightly sweet, minimally dry woody, hints of toffee, raisin, dried fruit in general; slightly papery overall.

Bottle split at Cotts Convention ii, thanks to team Cotts, 05/03/16. Rich amber with a decent off white head. Nose is nutty, dark fruit, Xmas cake, earthy. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, dates, light spice, fruit loaf. Full bodied, fine carbonation, warming alcohol in the close. Ok but lacks any finesse.
