500ml bottle. Old gold, thin white head. Got some vinous notes, some toffee, no great hop or malt. It’s ok, but just a tad bland. Some whiskyish malt.

Bottle from the Dodgi Deli, Cowley Road, Oxford, 16-06-07.Poured deep warm golden colour, with white frothy head. Honey and corn on the nose, taste was quite malty, strength quite evident but reasonably smooth and not so harsh.

A nice golden amber alger with a quickly dissipating white head. A rather sweet maply aroma, with a bizarre potted meat smell, as noted by probstk. In mouth, sickly sweet concoction, light metallic notes, short bodied (thankfully). Another Euroswill from LCBO.

(Can 50 cl) Clear, amber golden with a crreamy, off-white head. Malty, lightly caramelish aroma. Full-bodied with accents of sweet caramel on a fairly decent malt base, while the alcohol doesn’t appear until the finish. Very discreet bitterness. Sort of like a double Vienna really. 160706

Medium white head which quickly shrinks into a thin white ring. Light brown body. Grainy caramel aroma with butter notes. Sweet, deep caramel taste with toffee and butter notes. Some butter in mouthfeel. Empty aftertaste, but sweetish spicy taste lingers. Not very exciting, but OK.
