Psychedelia is a blond beer starring the Moteuka hop variety from New Zealand. This very pale ale is brewed with light pale malt and a subliminal touch of biscuit malt allowing the distinctive passion fruit flavour and aroma of the aromatic hops to shine through and leaving a dry, bitter finish. A perfect aperitif for a warm summers day or a great everyday hoppy beer.

33 cl. bottle split with Kraddel. Bright golden with a solid white head. Nose is sweet fruity, mellow sweet orange & mandarins, sweet inside flesh, sweet flowers (flower power promised on the bottle & bam! I am getting flowers), sweet fruits, light touch of caramel, light grass touch. Taste is sweet fruity, inside flesh of oranges & mandarins, sweet flowers, soft & touch of bitter flowers on the back, light spices, light grass in the back. Softer, touch fuller body. Maybe a bit too old but still not bad, mellow but nicely mellow.

Bottled 330ml. -from Bieres Cultes, Paris. Slight hazy orange/amber coloured, huge white head, intensive flowery hoppy nose. Moderate malty, very bitter hoppy and flowery taste with yeasty fruity notes. Dry bitter finish and pleasant long-lasting aromatic finish. Quite nice and fresh beer.

09/10/2012 Bibere (tap). Dorata, limpida, schiuma morbida, pannosa, abbondantissima e persistente.

Draught at La Fine Mousse, Paris
Hazy amber color with generous compact head. Very nice hop aroma, not just fruity, but there is also a pungent touch. Dry mouthfeel, little malt flavor, good bitterness level, the hops provide some nice fruity note but less than expected; medium-long final, drier.
Good summer beer (American Pale Ale).
