Second round for this bottle, buyjng this classical Belgian ale or almost tripel, at one beer shop, aligre market, Paris. Savouring at home, two days ago, at home, relax, a good beer, 100% brewed on the Belgian way, rather dry with a side of sweetness. 26.01.2023, thanks Luigi for this present coming from le Belge.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is peppery yeast, fruits, spicy notes, malt, touch of sugar, banana and ripe citrus. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Ordinary but acceptable Belgian Blonde.

hazy pale yellow colour, huge, white head; aroma of malty-grainy, dried apricot, earthy-wine cellary-moldy notes, taste of a dry pale Belgian strong ale withthose notes which can be felt in the aroma and some peppery aftertaste; good one

Etant maintenant très loin de cette sainte terre, je dois avouer que je mets toujours beaucoup d'espoir quand j'ai la possibilité d'ouvrir une bouteille en provenance de Belgique. Cela est d'autant plus une déception quand on rencontre une bière telle cette Bon Secours, qui présente des déséquilibres patents et des arômes peu intéressants. En verre, c'est un blond pâle très légèrement voilé pas désagréable qui se présente à nous. La mousse, blanche et crémeuse est tout de même un peu trop généreuse. Le nez présente une acidité certaine, sur le citron, la pomme et une touche de miel. En bouche, c'est à la fois déséquilibré et avec un manque criant de ligne directrice. L'attaque est à la fois acide et astringente, peu agréable, avec des arômes de citron, de zest d'orange et de pomme avec une pointe d'herbes. La deuxième est un peu moins astringente mais ne s'équilibre pas pour autant avec un alcool à 8 % qui n'arrive pas à structure l'ensemble. Ce dernier ressort davantage en arrière bouche, mais sans être bien intégré. La corpulence est moyenne, alors que la longueur est bonne, mais sur un final peu appréciable. Cette bière ferait mieux de s'appeler Bon Courage ou Au Secours...
