440ml Can @ 4.8%. I’m sure it used to be 5% and was derogatorily called ‘wifebeater’ due to its relative strength compared to typical low percentage British lagers and the unseemly effect it had on some young men in the UK. No doubt that is exaggerated but with an element of truth. Anyway the pour is a light gold, not much aroma, a slight malt taste, a certain metallic aftertaste, quite watery, high carbonation. Its poor but certainly not the worst in lager land.

clear golden colour, medium sized dense white head; aroma and taste of grainy, slight sourish-citrusy, as well as cardboard and metallic notes; drinkable lager

# 270; 3/2016. Velmi nedobrý, nevýrazný ležák. V chuti dominují kukuřičné a maltózové tóny. Edit 3/2020. Alc. 5%, brewed in Hungary, bottled in Staropramen in Prague. Uninpresive malty and corny aroma. Briliant straw body, thick white head. Strange flavor, corn, cardboard, glue. Undrinkable beer. 0,5 l, green bottle, market, Pilsen (Bohemia, CZ).
