75 cl-flaska delad på Beerditch stora Brekerietprovning med bröderna Ek. Jättemycket vanilj i doften jämte Brekeriets sedvanliga syrliga doft med citrus, vete och jäst. Sötman från vaniljen balnserar syrligheten bra och smakerna gifter sig också fint. Känns väldigt unik, har aldrig druckigt något liknande. Gott.

Hazy light amber. The brett is prominent, but then so is the vanilla. I thought it would be disjointed, but actually I find this compelling. Same thing on the palate, I like this brett-vanilla combo, with a touch of fruitiness...creamy body but mellow tartness. Surprising.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of vanilla upfront, followed by some smoky barrel notes and tart fruitiness. Flavour is unusual, with tart fruits, vanilla and woody barrel notes. Wonderful incorporation of the vanilla with the sourness. Not incredibly deep or complex, but well done.

Bottle split at Chris & Ruth’s pre GBBF Shindig, 07/08/16. Hazed golden blonde with a decent off white head. Nose is big on vanilla essence, straw, perfume. Taste comprises vanilla fudge, melon, caramel, straw, light farmyard tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close light tarte close. Ok simple sour but a bit one trick.

Bottle at RBESG 2016 Grand Tasting Part 2, Brew Pub Le Sec. Very hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of huge vanilla, tart light fruit, lemon. Flavour is moderate sweet and sour. Light medium bodied with light carbonation. Really strange, completely a vanilla sour. [10-07-2016]

Bottle shared at the chriso and Ruth pre GBBF Shindig 2016 - London. Day 2. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Dried lemon in the nose, a little apple. Light sweet flavour, drying, with rindy bitterness and tart lemon candies. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Clean in the finish, with further dryness, lemon rind, moderate acidity. Alright.

Bottle shared at the pre GBBF chriso’s tasting day 2 07/08/2016. Thanks to Jan for this one. A translucent golden yellow coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is sweet, vanilla, creamy, wheaty grains, lemon. Flavour is composed of tangy lemon wheat, sweet vanilla bean, bit weird. Tangy sour lemon. Palate is sour, tangy, grainy, highish carbonation, Deeply weird beer.

Pre-gbbf-shinding. Sehr trübes kräftig goldenes Bier mit einer geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch nach Vanille, süß malzig, Kekse. Geschmack süß malzig, sehr viel Vanille, minimal säuerlich fruchtig.
