Wow, fancy name (Brusselicious Lambicus). Bottle consumed at Delirium Café. The corked and caged green glass 37.5cl bottle poured out with a crystal clear copper body showing off gold edges and supporting a creamy white head of foam. The aroma offers up inviting funky barnyard that quickly mixes with sweet apple sauce and cereal graininess and coming off in a not too inviting way, that I can’t really puts words to. Too contrived maybe. The taste begins with a quick little kick of sugar sweetness, apple sweetness and then heading into all too faint barnyard funkiness. It gets apple sugar sweet to midway and then a carbonation enhanced prickly dryness intercedes toward the finish. Decent but on the overly sweet side.

From tap at Delerium. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, citric and light fruity. Flavour sweetinitially, light citric following. Dry and lingering fruity sweet impression into the finish.

thx to ajax25g // 25 cl. draft from Delirium Tap House // almost clear, class book amber with little lambic-y head // aroma is not that strong really, white sugar sweet, caramel, sweet tartness // taste is sweet, on the lighter side of sparkling apple juice mixed with oodles of white sugar, touch caramel, touch sweet tartness in the back but you are not going to get any lambic characteristic out of this beer // drinks as easily as juice // this is basically a sweetened cider or at least that is how this tastes like // not per see “beer” given that the sweeteners dominate any and all lambic flavours but it is quite delicious & drinkable // It is an alcopop but a very good one, I will never consider this to be a lambic but faro is a nonsense style // if faro is a style than lime-beers should be as well

Draft @ Delirium.
