Produced with yeast that gives the typical spicy aroma, with hints of fresh pepper and floral notes of elderberry and linden. On the palate, vegetable and balsamic notes stand out, given by hops, reminiscent of licorice root.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks tomer. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of graininess, yeast, bread, spiciness and some citric fruitiness. Floral and yeasty flavor with a sweetish note, some spiciness, some fruitiness and a dry finish. Medium-bodied.

Another Italian micro brewery with fine artisanal ales, in this case predominantly Belgian by style. This one pretends to be a saison and boasts an enormous, off-white, rocky head (caught after gushing) that nevertheless quickly decreases, and a misty, warm orange blonde hue - so far indeed saison-like. Powerful yeasty aroma, caramel, bread, gingerbread, orange juice, lemon peel, vanilla, field flowers, jute, paper, white pepper... Again very consistent with the saison style. Taste citrussy with sharp spicy notes (pepper, ginger) and strong, tingling carbonation, orange peel, yeasty, soft sweetish malts, bit nutty, sweetish, finishing in a herbal and grassy, bit peppery hoppiness, bit harsh ending also due to the strong carbonation (not that surprising in view of the gushing). In short: though a bit over-carbonated, this brew has understood the essence of the saison style very well. Very curious to meet the other Extraomnes beers.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 07/2013, courtesy of rosenbergh, 20121208) The beer poured muddy orange and cloudy. Its head was very small and white. Aroma had spices, sourness, malts and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with quite high carbonation. Flavours were spices, sourness, sweetness, hops, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, sweet and bitter. A quite nice saison with a bit too much sweetness for my taste.
