Pours a clear golden color with a off white head. Corn and paper. Thin and watery. Nasty! Tested on 20.03.2014.

Alcohol-free lager since 2007, aromatized with lemon- and lime extracts and made with ascorbic acid and wheat malt. Snow white, unstable head, colour of ’old gold’, clear with lots of fizz. Grainy and wheaty aroma with impressions of lemon and lime but in an artificial way, orange peel, tea, sugar, bread, ginger, lemonade and iron. Soda pop-like taste with lemonade-like ascorbic acid, strong carbo and metallic aftertaste, refreshened by artificial citrus on a very, very light grainy basis, thin body, tea-like flavour and watery finish with only a very brief and shy hop bitterishness, quickly fading again. Original and refreshing but not nearly ’beery’ enough to be tolerable.

33 cl. can @ home. Procured from Delhaize. BBF 06/02/2014. Wait a non-alcoholic radler? Am I the only one confused here? Pours apple juice golden, bubbles rising, collapsing head that looks exactly like soap foam. Nose is ridiculously fame lemon / lime peel, pure artificial, additives,… faint hay. Taste is very soggy cornflakes, soggy white bread, lots of artificial sweeteners, faint fake lemon & faint lemonade, not particularly enjoyable. The soggy white bread body makes this all the more horrible. A soda is by very, very far preferable over this. This is rather nasty. At least the can is nice.

Drank from the can at the bus station in Likasi, DR Congo, after I found it at a supermarket in Lubumbashi. Aroma of okay lime and bread. Has a decent head (I could tell from pouring some on the ground), okay light yellow body. Flavour is a very light beer taste & a lime finish. Slightly watery palate. It’s not bad for what it is.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, small white lacing on top. Smell malts and indeed lime. Pretty fresh smell, though not really beer-like. I’m trying this while I just got back from working out at the gym, so it’s probably not my most objective rating ever. I quite like it. Think this is an ideal summer beer. Very cold straight from the fridge it’s not gonna be a punishment to drink this. Probably in all other circumstances it more or less is. Anyway, it’s beer-like at best, with indeed very clearly a touch of lime.

Bottled. Yellow colour with small white head. Aroma is lime, cardboard, some mild grains as well as hay. Flavour is lime, cardboard, some grains as well as some mild hayish notes. Quite standard non-alcohol taste, except for the limelike notes.
