I had a good moment with this beer, notes of roasted malt, few coffee, fruity, vanilla, decently hoppy, well balanced, 31.08.18, at the pibar, Lausanne, really good brewery, loving this black ipa style, hard to find in Switzerland.

Aroma of roasted malts, floral hops, chocolate, coffee, grapefruit, pine, mango. Flavour is similar in nature, sweet and hoppy. Very nice Black IPA.

Missed review from 4.9.2015. Liquorish & metallic aroma. Beautiful thick creamy head stayed all the way. Crisp IPA tasting but surprisingly sweet, thick & chocolatey. A strange concoction - like a cross between a Porter & an IP Superb beer.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Opague. Grapefruit, lemon and roast in the aroma. Roasty, malty swet flavor with lots of citrus fruit. Tart notes. Caramel. Lovely!

Draft at Ranzani 13, Bologna, Italy. Pours dark brown, practically black, with a good head of brownish foam, fine. Aroma is roasted (not too much), and citrus. A bit of licorice. Body is fairly dense with good carbonation. A very nice full mouth. Taste is characteristically bitter, but not excessive. Finish is fairly long and bitter.

Bottle at home from Offie & Toffee. A great pour with some lacing and a deep dark brown verging on the black in the glass. An aroma of hops and malt. The taste was that of fruity and bitter hops with some roasted and burnt malt in the background. Very drinkable from all the malt.

Hazy, dark brown to black colored, strong creamy tan head, lasting and nice lacing. Aroma is of some malt, roasted, bit chocolate, medium to very strong hoppy citrus and floral notes. Taste is medium+ sweet malt, roasted and some chocolate, medium+ citrus and floral hops, medium bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, soft+ carbonation, oily. (On tap, Moeder Lambic Original, Brussel)

330ml bottle. Cloudy dark brown with a thick beige head, long lasting. Aroma is piney, floral, citrus, grapefruit, roast malts. Taste starts really hoppy, pine and grapefruit, citrus peel, strong bitter fruitiness, resin, light roast malts. Medium body, average carbonation. Could do with a tad more malts but this is a really lovely hoppy black IPA.
