Glas van tap gedronken op terras tijdens vakantie. Goudgeel troebel bier met matig wit schuim. Aroma is fruitig (banaan/sinaasappel) en de smaak is fruitig en moutig. Weinig nasmaak in de verte ietwat hoppig. Typisch weizen bier.

Tight white fluffy head stayed on a highly carbonated orangey golden body. Minimal aroma of citrus & wheat. Medium bodied, prickly over the tongue with a soft cloying back. Sweet orange, spice, herb, Christmas & yeast tastes with a peppery finish.

Das Edelweiß ist das allgemeine österreichische Weißbier, das man wirklich überall bekommt. Wenn im Gasthaus einfach Weizenbier auf der Karte steht, bekommt man zu 90% das Edelweiß Hefetrüb. Es ist sicher nicht so fein wie ein Augustiner oder Ayinger Weißbier aus Bayern, aber man kann es schon trinken. Auch wenn die Fruchtaromen nicht so ausgeprägt sind, sind sie doch gut erkennbar und passen gut zusammen. Ein einfaches, aber solides Weizenbier.

0,5 bottle. Egy klaszikus búza. Színe búzasárga, opálos, fehér vastag, puha, "paplanos" hab. Illatra: kevés gyümölcsösség, inkább "sima búzasör illat", finom, tiszta. Német búzasörös savanykás, citrusos íz, ami rendben van, de talán egy picikét "vizes", nem annyira telt mint némelyik társa. Kategóriájában közismert, állandó minőséggel. *** 2019 02. 06. : még mindig nagyon jó, talán még egy kicsit jobban is esett, de a pontszámon nem változtattam. Elég szénsavas.

Bottle at El Camino restaurant, Murzzuschlag, 10/06/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is mellow orange peel, clove, banana, yeast esters, straw. Taste comprises banana bread, wheaten tones, grassy, light herb, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough hefe.

Trübe, dunkelgelbe Farbe mit großer, weißer Schaumkrone. Süßer, hefiger Geruch mit klassischer Bananennote. Geschmacklich süß, malzig, hefig, fruchtig, leicht hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit aktiver Kohlensäure. Im Mittelfeld anzusiedeln.
