This is a dark beer. It is a special soft beer with a light spiced taste. (since May 2002)

Bitter dubbel with a strange spice vibe. Not molasses, not licorice. Unique. Good but a perplexing #3 in the White Pony advent calendar.

Disappointingly oxidized. I wish to try the base beer again. Which is super malty and complex. Dulle griet ghent

Backlog January 2010. Unclear amber body under a huge, creamy off-white head. Aroma has malt and slightly burnt caramel. Taste is sweet, light toasted, caramel and brown sugar. Fine body and same aftertaste. Decent, classic Belgium dubbel and rather sweet of course.

Red brown color with bits of yeast floating. Chocolate and mocha aroma and flavor, somewhat dusty. Rather thin. Sweet and sugary, some mango fruit. Maybe a bit infected, but the flavor is not too bad.

14/05/2015 @home. 33cl bottle from Prik&Tik Edelare. Brown with nice tanned head. Roasted malts, caramel, dark fruits, acceptable sweetness. Very nice for this style and ABV.
