Bottle. Cloudy pale gold colour with lasting white head. Bit lagery for me. Doesn’t have the panache of other wits. I don’t like it much. Some lemon and cereal. But lagery aroma and flavour puts you off.

Bottled (BB 09/2005)
Pale yellow hazy color, firm small creamy white head, some lace. Lemon, rubber and wheat in the light nose. Crisply carbonated. Light bodied - a bit of coriander, some lemon and wheat. Simple witbier - quite refreshing uninteresting summer drink.

Pale & hazy yellow colour. Medium head. Refreshing citrus aroma. Thin and watery with dry, almost woody yeast flavour. Witbier is not my favorite beer style.

(Bottle 25 cl) In this version Haacht is spelled "Haecht" which I believe is an old form. Very pale yellow, small white head. The spices are barely detectable. No edge, no refinement, no enticing perfumy palate. Wonder if this has turned too old? 250499
