This is an amber ale with a persistent, light hazelnut colored head. Fruity and warm scents immediately invade the nose, harmoniously blending with the delicate herbaceous and citrusy notes of the hops. We find them again in the taste, along with the hints of cereals that are perceived with the very first sip. As the first sensations fade, a pleasant and very subtle peppery note emerges.

Can, 8%. Good caramelly malt aroma. The colour looks cloudy and darkish, but it is difficult to see in the can. The flavour is also nicely caramelly. Medium bitterness. Caramelly finish. Mild warming alcohol. Fairly high carbonation. 737316

Bottle at Baladin Camden, London on 10th March 2022. Pours a hazy copper with shallow, white foam and scant lacing. Sweet malty aroma. Nutty malts and sweet berry fruits in-mouth, and a fruity finish with fresh, leafy hop notes. Full-bodied with a zingy mouthfeel. Gorgeous.

330 ml bottle. Unclear copper with a foamy head. Caramel, roasted malt, raisins, dry citrus notes, lemon peel, some metal, candi sugar. Malty sweetness with a good dry citrussy bitter backbone. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry malty bittersweet finish. Quite nice, not too sweet and rather balanced.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8%. Hazy orange to brown colour, large white (or slightly off-white) head. Pleasant aroma of mild spices, brown sugar and malts, hints of dark fruits. The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, with the same elements as the aroma. Moderate bittering hops in the finish. Nice beer.
