Bottled(330ml). -Slight hazy golden coloured, small white head, light fruity alcoholic nose. Quite ordinary abbey tripel; alcoholic, spicy and fruity with notes of coriander and alcohol. In general OK, but so far had this kind of beer few dozen times.

0.33l bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from Hungary (thanks!). Poured a murky orange body witha medium sized thick white head that went away somewhat fast. Fruity nose, strong alcohol, orange (fruity), a bit spicey and soapy. It’s a rather empty Tripel taste-wise, spicey, dusty, some bubblegum, fine but all too light maltiness, dry, chalky yeastiness, some lemony hop, slightly acidic, despite the nose, no alcohol in the taste. Hmm. Not impressive for the style.

[33cl bottle] Hazy, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Yeasty and sweet malty aroma with flowery notes and strong spicy phenols. Sweet flavour, quite slim bodied with a soft carbonation. Malt-accented and rather restrained fruity taste with strong phenolic spices towards the moderately bitter and faint fruity finish. Not a very convincing Tripel [27.I.09].

33 cL bottle. Pours clear yellow with a lasting white head. Mild spiced, light acidic and yeasty aroma. Not traditional triple aroma. Flavour is more authentic with a dry bitterness, spiced and light yeasty fruity flavour following. Nicely dry, yet also yeasty and spiced lasting finish.

Bottle at Cambrinus in Brugge. Amber gold color with a few white bubbles. Fresh fruit aroma. Reminds of apple, but that’s not it. Medium body with fizzy creamy carbonation. Light malt with fairly strong floral hop. Finishes very nicely balanced.

bottle - Pours hazy gold with a one finger head and a light citrus and yeast aroma. It tastes sweet with a little bit of citrus and has a very lively palate. It’s medium bodied and finishes with some alcohol in there. It’s ok, but I was hoping for more in a tripel.

Bottle, 8%. OK fruity aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Big stable rocky white head. Plastic flavour, perhaps a little iron. Slightly rough bitterness. All in all OK spicy with a nice enough drinkability.

Pours a clear amber into a Trappist glass. Little to no head on vigorous pour...rather sickly looking. Slight candi and sour malt aromas. Carbonated, musty, citrusy sour and alcoholic.
