Sample at Kurt’s 49th birthday party. Bottle brought back by a friend who visited Cape Verde. The beer is a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of mild hops and malt. Light body with a grainy malt character and light hops behind it. The finish is short with a mildly bitter grassy hops aftertaste. Pretty much like every other Pale Lager out there.

Bottled (thanks Lasse Grönroos!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, sweet malts, some grains and mild metallic and vegetably notes. Flavour is grass, grains, cardboard, some sweetish notes as well as mild metallicness. Fresh bottle, but still didn’t feel fresh at all.

8/05/2011 33cl can @ home - BB: 1/11/11 (2011-195) Thanks to Carry for the can!
Little cloudy yellow beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Small particles floating around in the beer. Aroma: pretty sweet, if anything. Very faint. MF: light caron, light body. Taste: little sweet, faintly hoppy. Aftertaste: citrus and a bit dry finish. Not undrinkable, but very low in flavours.

Bottled 1ltr (BB 07/2011)
Clear golden color, small white head. Leathery, cardboardish aroma. Light bodied. Bready, cardboardish, a bit fruity malty flavor. No suprises here.

(Bottle, 1 litre - twist off cap, courtesy of oh6gdx) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had metallicness and carboard. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were metallicness, carboard. mildly sweetness and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was harsh and bitter. This was a fresh bottle and it tasted like way too old pale lager.

Bottled. Clear pale golden, rich brief head. Stinks like a stale urinoir with lemony washing up liquid. Sweet with some sweaty fruit and lots of vegetables. No hops nor bitterness. Plastic finish. Not good at all.
