At Carlsberg, the pursuit of better beer is in our DNA. More than 100 years after our founder J.C. Jacobsen mastered the art of brewing great Pilsner, we're still looking for ways to improve our beer. Our perfectly balanced Danish Pilsner is wonderfully crisp and refreshing, with a full flavour and a distinctive hoppy aroma. Skål!

Can. It is clear golden with a white head. The aroma is sweet, malt, citrus and hops. The taste is sweet and a little bitter.

Now at 3.4% in UK cans. This might merit it's own entry. Nose sweet, light malt, stale. Taste is very watery; light corn, malt, cardboard, slightly bitter. I don't have notes on the 4.6% beer, but this is absolutely atrocious. Even by the low standards of a macro larger this is shockingly bad. It tastes of almost nothing and what taste is there, makes you wish there was less of it.

Clear, golden color, nice white head. Simple. Malty, crisp, slightly sweet and decent bitter. Fits well with a steak (ok, theres no other beer on tap).

Wow I can't believe that I hadn't tasted this before. I would probably continue not to be interested in it, if it wasn't one of the surprise finds in the 'surprise craft beer box' I bought from Costco! Anyway, it was clear golden with a large foamy white head, bread aroma, high carbonation, mildly sweet malt taste with grassy hops, thin body, medium finish. Nothing like a real Pilsner.

Drank from the can at an 80th birthday shindig somewhere in Catford. somewhere in Catford. Not much in the nose. Little of note in the taste. Exceedingly thin. Pretty rubbish beer. Bored me to bits, halfway through the can I was compelled to hit the Prosecco instead 🥂

Didn’t realize I’ve never rated this. Had during a juggling performance on the cruise ship. Normal colored yellow. Nose is some old hops with floral. Tatses of crackers, cardboard, floral and herbal. Medium low bodied.

0.5 l can from a local Konzum store in Zagreb. Drank at the Jolly Rogers Meeting. Clear golden, small white head. Aroma is slightly perfumy, corn flakes, soft herbal notes. Bready and herbal flavour with some vegetables. Not very clean, slightly creamy, some vegetable. Light body, light finish.

Live Rate. 2pac, Jan. 20th 2002: this beer wasnt too fucken great. my dickhead mate eddie liked it. dickhead. Well said 2pac. Green bottle pours with a clear pure gold colored body that supports a lasting near white head of foam. The aroma offers up a fairly inviting spicy hoppiness edged in hop dankiness. The taste delivers modest spicy hops, a dash of biscuit malts and then too much sweetness....but not overly sweet. 2pac may be correct. This isn't too great but it isn't bad.
