Bottiglia.

Pours ruby, malty aroma typical for ESB. The taste is malty and hoppy. As for classic ESB which is in fact sweet in taste this beer is extremely bitter with strong herbal bitterness. On the one hand it is a craft berr revolutionary interpretation of the style, and an interesting one. On the other hand the bitterness makes it much less drinkable than expected. In a way it tastes like English IPA.

Keg at Archea - Florence. Pours a rather fetching clear Amber with a thick, creamy tan cap. The aroma holds dried berries, faint leathery earth and toasted grains. Medium sweet flavorbwith slight grassy hops, crackers, leaves, more dried berries, fruit leather. Light-medium bodied with average carbonation. Moderately sweet on their josh but still pretty well balanced, with more fruits, some ripe orange, grain, leafy and grassy bitterness. Not bad. Pretty good take on a British style.

Red brown colour. Aroma of toasty caramel malts. Flavour has a great blend of hop bitterness and sweet, toasty malts.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - amber brown coloured pour with off-white head. Medium sweet toasty and light roasted malty aroma and taste, some caramel, some vague grassy and herbal twiggy hop notes, pretty light body. Ok.

Bottle from Bier-Deluxe.de. Surprisingly dark amber color with medium off-white head. Aroma of dark malt, caramel, honey, citrus hops.Taste, dark malt, citrus, overlapped by strong hoppy bitterness. I miss a bit a malty base, but overall good.
