Silky and soft porter with an exciting malt profile that makes this beer especially easy to drink. Deliciously sweet and soft aroma of coffee, bitter chocolate and cocoa. Full bodied on the palate, with rich coffee and chocolate flavours in the taste.

330ml bottle, needed to make some space in my fridge. Dark brown pour, some creamy lighter brown foam there. Nose is kind of chewy, feels somewhat thick and a bit heavy. Some spices and heavy roast character (not sharp). Tastes lightly spicy, rye coming through here for sure, medium bitterness, some chocolate and quite concentrated cocoa. Overall decent, does not wow me but nothing wrong with it either.

Bottle: Literally black, presumably clear (?), medium-sized stable and lacy brownish head, complex bitter-sweet nose of dried fruits, roasty/toasty malt and molasses, rounded by an ashy touch; medium bodied and soft, moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour with a mild, rounded acidity; lingering bitter-sourish finish, presenting toasted malt, dried fruits and bitter chocolate. A well rounded, pleasant drink...

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours clear dark brown to mahogany coloured with a modest, beige head. Mild roasty aroma with notes of dried fruits, caramel and hints of licorice and hops. Moderate to medium sweet with ditto flavour intensity. Quite okay.

Tap at BKL2019. Black, creamy brown head, dry chocolaty roast, light marzipan on the palate, dark chokolade back, very good praline. Chewy creamy full body, light burnt, great balance.

Bottle, thanks fatphil. Pours dark brown-black with beige head. Aroma and flavor are roast, coffee, malt, sweetness. Body is on the light side. Overall: ok, feels bit too bland.
