26/6/2024. Draught at Y Bryn a'r Bragdy (Cardigan Brewery), Brynhoffnant. Pours clear deep amber brown with a small frothy off-white head. Good looking beer. Aroma is leafy, malty, earthy, bready, dried fruits. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, light creamy mouthfeel, average to soft carbonation. Dry and bitter finish. One of the better ones on the flight.

50 cl. bottle shared / thx to tderoeck – very slightly hazy, apricot, amber coloured with a white head, smells like a canned fruit salad, punch-style, peaches, canned cherries, pineapple,… fruity yeast, taste is touch toned down canned fruit salad, mainly peach, fruity yeast, pineapple, citrus, flowers, very fruity for an ESB, medicinal bitterness in the finish, hay, way too carbonated, apparently we were supposed to pour it in a jug before drinking it, evidently

pint size bottle, thanks Tderoeck for the share.

14/IV/2012 - 50cl bottle @ home - BB: IV/12 (2012-356) Thanks to Bryn for the bottle!

Clear blond beer, aery big white head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, apple sauce, upon adding some of the yeast it gets even more fruitier with hints of pineapple and ripe peaches. MF: very carbonated, light to medium body. Taste: fruity start, some pineapple, citrus, grapefruit, bit grassy hops. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, bit medicinal, citrus fruits, touch of barnyard. Not too bad.

Bottle from Brewer’s Droop, Bristol. Clear amber with decent carbonation and a massive white head. Citrus fruit aroma with some marmalade. Biscuit malts flavour with a touch more fruit and decent, bitter finish. Good.
