30/XII/12 - 33cl bottle @ home: De Molen & assorted beers tasting - BB: n/a (2012-1406) Thanks to Johan for the bottle!

Very cloudy murky beige muddy looking beer (as it is a witbier, I made sure the yeast was mixed with the beer before pouring), small aery off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very smelly, yeast, honey, cheesy, sweet, bit flowery. MF: ok carbon, full to medium body. Taste: pretty sourish start, some citrus, dry, bitter yeasty. Aftertaste: bitter, little herbal, yeasty, some spices.

Bottle thx to benzai. Hazy orange, with a huge, active head. Smells yoghurt, herbs, yeast and some overripe fruit. Tastes overripe fruit, boring and just meh. Too much carbo, medium body.

33cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy murky orange color, huge incredibly high carbonated white to off-white head that lasts for quite awhile. Smell fruits, lightly yoghurt, orange peel, lightly herbs, light to moderately yeasty. Taste malts, orange peel, fruits, lightly sweet. High carbo, low to medium body.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a blond and tall frothy head. Slightly dusty and sweet malty aroma with notes of biscuits, accompanied by notes of citrus and shades of coriander. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a prickly carbonation. Biscuity and slightly grainy malty taste with just a tinge of wheat and also rather shy fruity notes; sweet malty and slightly sour-fruity finish. Uncommon Wit. 09.VI.11

11.2 oz bottle. Pored into a weizen glass and produce a ridiculous amount of head. No expiration date on the bottle, no telling how long it sat on the self. The head stayed the entire time, with light lacing. The standard Wit nose, orange peel, zest and coriander. A light mouthfeel with the standard Belgian Wit flavors, Is tis a good wit? Yes. Was it worth the price? No, you can find a Wit made in the states and spend less money but if you are overseas and can get this at a better price... do it!!

Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy pale yellow color with a huge soapy yellow-white head that lingered and produced some lacing. The aroma was tart and sour with notes of bread, must and lemon. The flavor was very tart and sour with strong lemon and a chalky undertone. The finish was long, tart, sour and lemony. Medium body. Ok.

Bottle. Cloudy, chunky straw yellow, medium white head that settles to islands. Solid lacing. Aroma of sour orange, rising bread dough and dust. Taste is sour grapefruit with a bit of sulphur. Difficult to finish.

11.2 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy dark orange color with a frothy large white head. The aroma is very bready and yeasty along with notes of citrus, pineapple and clove. Taste is citrus, bread, yeast, bubblegum and a spicy finish. Fairly tart and otherwise a fairly traditional witbier. Medium bodied.
