Cask at Crown. Pours a clear gold with a slight amber hue and an off white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has earthy grain and bread with a bit of straw coming through. Flavor is similar with a combination of grain, bread and straw notes.

Clear amber pour with an almost non-existent head. Nose is faint malt, taste malt, grain, some lemon and herbs. Not mind-blowing, tbh.

Cask at The Park Tavern, Eltham. Amber pour with a beige head. Another beer I've not had for many a moon, think it was the Jolly Woodman, Beckenham but thats not important. Nose is toffee, whiff of bitter hops, dried fruit. Taste is dried fruit, very malty, more toffee. Nutty malty bitter finish.

Cask at the Hand & Shears. Deep amber with a low but thick head. Nose is very dull, light malt, spicy UK hops. Mild, somewhat bland flavor like Japanese barley tea with a decent hop character added. Thin, light body. Ok, but pretty boring.

Cask at the Express Tavern - London. Pours clear, rich gold with a tight, foamy white head. Toasted sugars in the nose, bread, light dry caramel. Medium sweet flavour with more toasted sugars, bread, and faint caramel, along with modest leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Sweet and lightly sticky finish, faintly sugary pale malts, some toasted bread, light honey. An alright sweet bitter.
