Draught. 6.3%. Clear amber. Malt, caramel, toffee, sweet, biscuits, some alcohol, yeast, a bit of bitternes.

Tap at Rad van Wageningen. Color: Hazy amber, off-white head. Aroma: Hoppy, caramel. Taste: Caramel malt, floral hop. Light citrus hints. Medium body. Average carbonation.

75 cl. bottle shared with Rick @ home, bought @ W. van Schaik, Vianen. Hazy amber with a white head. Malty aroma with lots of yeast. Sweet earthy taste with a good solid body. Nice one.

@ Camping Ratebeer, Orange beer, no aroma i could make sense of, taste was almost neutral. hmmm

Tap @ Cafe Derat. Hazy orange colour, off-white head. Nose is caramel malts, bit of fruits, light sour, a bit spicy and yeasty. Flavour of caramel malts, subdued hoppiness, a bit sugary. Wouldn’t have guessed this to be a doppelbock.

Bottle at TSODRBSG 13. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is hop, malt, caramel. Flavour is sweet, malt, caramel, alcohol. Ordinary beer.

Bottle 750ml. @ [ The Danish Summer Gathering, TSODRBSG13 ].Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, vegetables, moderate yeasty, earthy. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, earthy, vegetables. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130831]

(Draught at Kafé Belgie, Utrecht, 25 July 2013) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy, off-white head. Malty, slightly spicy nose with notes of orange, dried fruit and spicy hops. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, apricots, orange peel, a slight caramel sweetness and a generous spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, fairly sweet. Tasty and well balanced. nice one.
