Cask at ACBF 2012. Dark red/brown. No head apart from a small beige ring round the glass. Aroma is smoky, hint of chili, roasty malt, bit of coffee bitterness. Taste is initially roasty malt and coffee, then burning spice. Very nice chili taste, pretty hot but still lots of flavour. Bit like a spicy noodle broth. Bit of worcester sauce maybe. Actually quite liked this.

Cask at ACBF 2012. A black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, oats, and wet hay. The flavor has strong notes of chilis on a lightly roasted background. The chilis burn.

Wässriger Beginn mit geringer Malzigkeit. Dann ist die Schärfe dominierend, Aromen kommen nicht durch – wenn überhaupt vorhanden, denn zu oft wird die hintergründige Wässrigkeit offensichtlich. /4/4/5//4

At ACBF 2012. very dark brown. Too chilli. Some choc but just on my limit for being not a drain pour. It is a challenge but i do quite like it. Base beer is really good.

Dark brown, almost black colour, small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, light pepper sweetness, almost like bell peppers (paprika) and light chili. Flavour starts gentle, light chili, somewhat salty, light sweetness. Then the chili pepper starts to get more pronounced, packing a big fat scoop of heat, to my taste still on the pleasurable side - though popular opinion on that seemed to vary somewhat. Finish is salty and chili pepper. Nice little experiment, pleasurable, guess it will be a great beer for food pairing. (From cask @ 5th ACBF, 2012)

Cask (with the chilli still in the cask) @ ACBF 2012 & plastic 0.5 litre bottle at home, filled as a give away by the brewer / thx. guy: black, some mocha bubbles instead of a head, smells of cold coffee, roasted malt & soy sauce, taste is soy sauce upfront, roasted coffee, grains & roasted malts, bitter leading into a full-on spicy chilli finish which burns in the back of your throat, oily, flat-ish, base beer is not that grate once you get past the burn, bit soy heavy, burning finish is quite serious, there was quite a buzz about how spicy this was at the festival with people challenging each other to try it

Cask No head, black beer. Chocolate, and pimento, red fruit, and initially appearing balanced. Chocolate, peppers, and than the hotness strikes. Finish & aftertaste are pure capsicain. Not balanced by far. Burning MF!! Medium bodied. A tad too hot, even if with delayed action. Still, interesting try, but it is over the top.

Cask @ ACBF 2012, Moen. Holy spicy peppers Batman this beer rocks !!! I love me anything extremely spicy.

Clear dark brown beer, no head. Aroma: coffee, mocha, cocoa powder. MF: fuck, chillies man. Taste: chillies, aftertaste: chillies, this is pretty bad stuff. Talked to the brewer. He said it was like a joke, or something. Well, we had a laugh or two giving it to unsuspecting victims at the festival. :p
