Bottle from thewolf, thanks! Black and opague. Malty, sugary aroma with rubber and licorice. Very sweet, sugary flavor with laurel and licorice. Salty, well rounded, hardly any roast. Deceivingly easy drinker, but lacks depth.

37,5 cl bottle @ home, BBE 01.09.2015
Pitch black pour with no head at all. Aroma is sour with berries and some rubber. Flavour has glue, alcohol, some burned malt and rubber. Like a Mikkeller Black light. What is this shit? Probably a bad bottle.

375ml bottle from Barley Wine, Copenhagen

Pours pitch black with a bubbly head. Aroma of solvent notes, roasted malts, some fruity notes and glue. Taste is stingy and sour with some roasty notes, hints of hops and berries. Strong roasty and boozy finish with notes of hops and fruits. Unbalanced, not very tasty. Perhaps has seen its best days.

0.5l bottle courtesy of Inbreak and shared with The Great Tasting Crew. Expiration date was 2 years ago and it has been perfectly stored since then. This one is black as The Black Adder and it has a small bubbly sidesticking chocolate head. Lovely sweet roasted aroma with lost of chocolate and leather, vanilla and some coffee. It has a soft carbonation level and a silky oily mouthfeel. Deep roasted chocolaty and sweet flavors in this one. It's almost ashy and sticky with some nice oxidized tones in the background. Ends with a gigantic chocolate finish and continues with this in a everlasting aftertaste. Really interesting flavors. Thanks for sharing Kai Sindre! 30.01.2011
