Bottle. No head - only some bubbles when I poured. Color is hazy amber. Aroma is mainly hops. Taste is nothing like a wit. Its all hops and no sign of wheat. Its good, but I was disappointed by the name on tha label and was in the mood for a refreshing wit, and not something that was more like an IPA.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow colour with a big white head. Fruity citrus aroma. Sweet wheat flavor with nice hints of citrus. Sweet malty finish.

500ml bottle. Cloudy pale yellow beer with a big white head. Great fruity aroma with some banana/ester. Very flavorful, some citrus, banana and a sharp dry aftertaste. A great wit, only a bit negative on a slightly watery body.

500ml bottle from Ølutsalget i Tromsø (just arrived). Hazy golden with an inviting aroma of coriander. Fresh flavour of orange and orange shell. Basic Nøgne Ø with a solid bitter and hoppy finish. Perhaps the best summertime refreshment from a Norwegian Brewery.

Highly carbonated with a big white head that quickly disappeared. A yeasty, orange and banana filled nose. Unbalanced body, lots of carbonation and too much hops for the style. Some orange flavors, but this is just poorly constructed.

Small white head. Muddy orange body. Thin, sharp aroma of coriander, some orange, and a touch of yeast that seems to promise acidity in the taste. Hint6s of cocos. Dry citric herbal taste of coriander, yeast, and slightly mealy mouthfeel. Some sweetness as well. Mid-bodied. Aftertaste is bitter citric hops, which linger, with metallic notes. A nice wit, but could be lighter and more refreshing. (0.5l bottle. Batch #236. Rerated batch #295.)

Bottle. A year or so past BB date. Weak wheat aroma. Almost clear copper colour. Big-bubbled, but quite stable white head. Weak wheat flavour, a little boring, but with a nice alcohol feel and aftertaste.

(Bottle 50 cl) Aged sample. Unclear amber golden with a tall, dissipating head. Heavy carbonation. Lovely fruity esters - oddly I sense some banana, when the style is Belgian Wit. Lightly sweet malt with notes of coriander. Pleasant all right but comes closer to a Belgian Blond Ale (probably due to it’s age). Thanks to Yngvar for this rare gem. 271105
