Notes from June 2009 Handy pocket-sized 24cl can. Pours a clear faded gold, with a pasty, white ring of head. Smell & taste are basically the same: lots of unfermented grain & mineral water. Cheerio-like sweetness, with a light husky, bitterness. Ever run out of milk & mom filled your bowl of flakes with water? Yeah. ABV seems way low. This actually might not be too safe. Watery, sure. Drinkability, even in it's mundaneness, seems pretty decent though. Totally inoffensive. It's basically incapable.

Having this at numerous places around Tunis and I’m sure they’ll be more to come. After trying it on tap yesterday I think I’ll skip that in future and just get bottles. I’m not convinced that keeping the lines clean is always a priority

Country #126 - Tunisia 🇹🇳 Light and quite sweet, honestly a very crisp and refreshing lager. Pleasantly surprised. Thanks Teemu J.

Bottle at Dar El Jeld, Tunis. Aroma is grain. Decent look. Thin and somewhat metallic. Pretty lame but I've had worse. (22/7/22) ---- Bottle at Dar Benti, Monastir. Almost alco free vibes in the aroma. Taste ain't so bad this time. Better. 2.2 to 2.5.

Beers of the World country 146: Tunisia 🇹🇳

"The beer is clear and golden in colour (like I’ve written so many times…) with a white foamy head that made me stop while pouring. It smells a little sweet and malty and taste is similar only more bland. Aftertaste is also short with a grainy end." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com
