Can you imagine something more repulsive than the smell of cats piss? Not really - go on, open up and inhale the sharp nose of cats piss extracted from the heavenly dry hopped Nelson Sauvin. The good news is you’ll love the freshness and the light body. It’s a true quality guzzler IPA.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with white head. Nose/taste of dank resinous tree sap, funky hops, pine and caramel malt. Dry resin finish. Medium body.

Hazy orange colour with a big white head. Smells very hoppy, almost overwhelming, fruity but a bit unfresh. Tastes aggressive, bitter and unfresh. Sticky mouthfeel, too much carbo, long nasty aftertaste.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Labeled as Katz Pis. Well the pour starts with a glass of beige foam that dissipates into a clear copper liquid. Lots of citrus and floral aroma coming out of the foam. Med body. Quite a bit of hop - and a lot of it’s bitter. Citrus, floral and somehow a lot of earthy barnyard - almost like brett dropped by. Oh, and there’s some soft caramel. I think. My mouth is doing a slow hop burn. How good is that!

Bottle at hotel Bodegraven, shared with Dutchdrebus and Iluvatarmilan. Hazy orange color, big foamy white head. Smell hops, lemon and citrus. Tastes very bitter, some hops and some fruityness come through but mainly bitter. High, firm, fizzy carbonation, medium body.

Pours deep amber into a snifter. Full-on micro foam fills glass and slowly craters and recedes. Sweet caramel, toast and resin aromas...sorry, and cat piss. Dry with tangerine and solvent upfront turing to bittersweet resin and tropical fruit peel in the lasting finish.

12 oz. bottle, pours a murky dark orangey amber with a huge foamy off-white head and lots of lacing. Aroma of quite spicy hops, orange zest, yeast and some caramel malt. Flavour is quite spicy and zesty, with very spicy hops and not much malt balance. Also, I must admit, there's a faint recognition of kittie litter and cat piss. Decent.

Bottle at Ørsted, Copenhagen
Cloudy amber color; generous creamy head. The hop aroma is mild, with fruity hops, a bit creamy and yeasty. Some residual sweetness, toffee flavor, boring, with strong hopping and bitterness, a lot of hop oils, but desperately without the freshness and hop qualities expected from a local beer. Dry final. Disappointing.

Bottle: Hazy, golden to orangey coloured, huge fluffy off-white head; solid grapefruity-herbal nose, balanced by caramel; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; lingering tart grapefruity finish with a slight caramelly touch. Good and spicy......

On tap. Pours with a hazed golden hue and a lasting bone hued head. Aromas are extremely pungent. Aromas of chlorine, tea, white wine grapes, minerally, estery, pine needles. Flavors are musky, pungent, bitter, minerally and herbal. Strong chlorine. Medium bubbles, dry and lightly vegital. I’m afraid it really does live up to its name. Sorry, not enjoyable in the slightest.
