Aeresis Black Ale is characterized by a black color with reflections that tend to brown and by a beige-colored foam, with good persistence. The balsamic and resinous notes of the hops stand out at first glance, blending with the toasted hints offering clear hints of licorice.

Aeresis It has a remarkable balance, a good body, a non-aggressive carbonation and a formidable roundness. On the palate the toasted notes dominate, followed by hoppy nuances that lead us back to the licorice perceived in aroma. The bitter and persistent finish reveals its "heretical" spiciness with a peppery heat in the aftertaste.

12oz bottle at IL Santo Bevitore pours a water deep brown with some spitty white head. Nose has some toast and some clear black peppercorn, dried leaves, raisin, pencil lead. Flavor has malt, some molasses, bread dough, light pepper, a little weak coffee. Watery finish. Everything can be amped up.

33cl bottle from Drink Shop, Tallinn. Pours hazy very dark brown with a modest, creamy, beige head. Malty and fairly hoppy aroma with pine, citrus and moderate roasty notes, mild chocolate, hints of dark berries and spices. Medium sweet and somewhat complex with nicely balanced bitterness and lightly spicy finish. Easy to drink and quite tasty. --- Beer merged from original tick of Aeresis on 17 Feb 2015 at 20:45 - Score: 7

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, ochre head. Herbal hoppy aroma, peppery background, a floral touch of rose pepper, dry dark malty basis. Taste is slightly chocolately dark malty, subtle sweetness, herbal hoppy overtones, cautious but accumulating peppery background. Nice, discernible pepper note, neglectible hoppiness for a Black IPA.

Leaking bottle. Opaque dark brown - black beer. Good bubbly pale tan head. Palate is airy and crisp and semi dry. Minerals, Mild dark malts with mild unsweet dark chocolate. Very light peppery spice. Hops are a very mild orange marmalade. Light dry finish. It’s an okay for a dark ale but very hop light for a CDA.

Bardzo dobre piwo ciemne IPA po wlosku. Piana moze ne za wielka ale glebia czarnego koloru i zapach chmielny i aromatyczny. Smak palony wytrawny i goryczkowy, troche pieprzowy i ogolnie przyprawowy. Goraco polecam. Swietne piwo i ladna etykieta.

Draught@HBF2013. Very deep ambery black colour with a small bown head. Aroma is syrupy, sweet malts, raisins, wood and some toffee. Flavour is fruity and toffeeish with some wooden and mild caramelly notes. Good balance on this one.
