Pours pitch black with a foamy head. Aroma of roasty malts, hints of licorice and chocolate. Taste is roasty and malty with some licorice notes. Finish is roasty with some sticky notes. Okay, quite basic but well balanced baltic porter.

Draught (Stockholm Beer Festival 2012) - Dark brown with red tinges. Roasted malt, coffee and liquorice in the aroma. Roasted and fairly rich taste with notes of plain chocolate, coffee and liquorice.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 28 Sep 2012. 7.0%) Dark brown colour, almost black, with creamy beige head. Roasted, malty nose with dark chocolate, cacao, black coffee and a touch of liquorice. Roasted, malty taste with notes of dark chocolate, cacao, dark rye bread, a touch of liquorice and a fairly dry finish with a generous cacao bitterness. More than medium body, fairly dry. Well balanced and tasty. Very nice. Rerate: (Bottle, 22 Oct 2015) Dark brown colour with frothy, dense head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate, black rye bread, liquorice, raisins and some dried fruit. Malty, roasted taste with dark chocolate, black rye bread, coffee, liquorice, raisins, toffee and a balanced roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Very nice. (Same score)

Sample at SBWF 2012. Dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma and taste of chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. The finish was dry and bitter. Quite tasty.

[At Stockholm Beer Festival 2005] An almost opaque brown beer with a nice brown head. The aroma is sweet with lots of notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet roasted giving it notes of chocolate, but the alcohol is also present. The roastiness gives it a dry end, with an aftertaste of coffee.

This is not a baltic porter per se. Almost opaque black, creamy coffee head. Roasted, tobacco nose. Chocolaty, roasted with long roasted aftertaste. Well-balanced, enjoyable (imperial) stout.

Draught. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Hoppy fruity roasted malt in aroma. Roasted malt and old coffee with caramellish hints in flavour. A bit wheat too. Dryness at one point but then turns into a bit full and sticky palate. Overall very good one. Warming finish (of alcohol).
